このプロジェクトは当初、
商業誌への持ち込み企画として始まった。
しかし時間の経過とともに、
震災を扱う写真と声は行き先を失っていった。

私はそれらを、
個人的な記録として撮影と対話を続けることにした。
なぜなら、これらはいつか後から意味を持つと
感じていたからだ。

本書には、かつて仮設住宅に暮らしていた
福島県飯舘村の住民のポートレートと
インタビューを収録している。
整理整頓された部屋もあれば、
そうではない部屋もある。
仮設住宅の狭い空間は、
住民それぞれの心情を映しているように感じられた。

凝縮された濃密な仮設住宅の空気を、
大型カメラで記録した一冊。

This project originally began as a proposal for a commercial magazine.
Over time, however, the photographs and voices dealing with the disaster gradually lost their place.

I decided to continue photographing and talking with people as a personal record,
feeling that these materials would gain meaning later on.

This zine includes portraits and interviews with residents of Iitate Village, Fukushima Prefecture,
who once lived in temporary housing.
Some rooms are carefully organized, while others are not.
The small spaces of the temporary housing can appear to reflect the inner states of the residents.

A book that records the condensed and dense atmosphere of temporary housing,
photographed with a large-format camera.
